CITY OF ST-LAURENT, Quebec--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 18, 1996--(ME:LBL) LESSARD, BEAUCAGE, LEMIEUX INC. "LBL", one of Canada's largest manufacturers and installers of curtain walls announces that the closing of the acquisition of all outstanding common sReplica Bvlgari Watchhares of Hickey Canada Inc., an important Canadian manufacturer of glazing systems and curtain walls for the commercial institutional construction market, was confirmed today.
Hickey Canada Inc. is primarily active in markets outside Quebec (United States, United Kingdom). LBL foresees that the acquisition of HVacheron Constantin Watchickey Canada Inc. will allow it to expand its product line, add to its technical team and expand its markets outside Quebec. The Company's order book totals $42 million as compared to $16 million last year.
This acquisition was in part financed by Le Fonds de solidarite des travailleurOmega Replica Watchess du Quebec (FTQ) ("Fonds") in the amount of $5,000,000 by way of $1,448,281 for the issue of 4,388,733 common shares and $3,551,719 of an unsecured Debenture, convertible, under certain circumstances in common shares, bearing interest at the rate of 9 percent per year, plus an additional interest based on the net income of LBL, on a consolidated basis. LBL and Hickey Canada Inc. have accepted a loan offer from the Business Development Bank of Canada for a maximum of $1,500,000. This loan is conditional on the registration of certain security interests and other preconditions.

In a celebration of women's sports on the 35th anniversary of Title IX, U.S. Soccer and Nike unveiled the new U.S. Women's National Team uniforms at an interactive event on Thursday afternoon at Sara D. Roosevelt Park in New York City. The team's new gold uniforms will make their debut on Saturday, June 23, when the U.S. Women take on Brazil at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., live on ESPN2 and Galavision at 5 p.m. ET.
